ASSUREd Safe, a Mississippi State University non-profit, is a federated ecosystem that provides standards, education, certification, and credentialing (as outlined in H.R. 3935 FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024) of first responders’ use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and approved equipment list for public safety operations nationally and internationally. Our mission is to strengthen national security and resilience to crisis, by working with first responders to ensure they can employ UAS to contribute to public safety and enable recovery.
